Stage 3

EIC Interview — Where the Award is Won or Lost.

After a strong Full Proposal, the EIC interview is the final filter. A high-stakes 30–40 minute conversation with a jury of investors, operators and experts who have read your proposal and prepared sharp questions.

Section 01

What the jury actually tests

Founder clarity, technical depth, market understanding, financial realism, ability to handle pressure, and whether the team is the right team to scale this.

Section 02

Preparation that works

Multiple jury simulations with senior advisors and former evaluators, ruthless pitch refinement, and a Q&A bank covering predictable lines of attack.

Section 03

Common failure modes

Marketing-speak instead of substance, defensive answers to technical challenge, vague financials, and weak articulation of why this team will win in Europe and beyond.

Section 04

After the interview

Outcomes typically arrive within weeks. A 'No' is data: many strong companies succeed on a re-submission after addressing the specific concerns raised.
